Terraria has the same elements as Minecraft such as:
Crafting
Killing creatures
Supporting each other
co op
Mining
and most common of alllll
Surviving

Same with 80% of survival games

But they both are pixels plus both games revolve around magic

no but I've seen videos of it and I can tell that they are very similar

Terraria has 371 enemies lots of peaceful critters 15 unique bosses, more items than than anyone wants to count, 3 mini games a huge modding community, with amazing content mods. Minecraft pales in comparison

As well as terraria was made around the same time with Minecraft being barely finished. While terraria being a fully fledged game with 5 bosses plenty of items and balanced progression.
While terraria was adding more bosses and content Minecraft was adding survival mode.
