Everyone keeps making the same mistake with this war. Neither Ukraine or Russia will ever be our friend. And no amount of cash will ever change that.
This is just like arming Iraqis and Iranians to kill each other. There aren't any good guys. Whoever wins, they'll all hate us just as much as they hate each other...

Agreed, although the difference between say Iraq and Iran compared to Russia and Ukraine is that Russia has nukes and the west has a hard on for provoking armageddon.
