Yes, I'm well aware of that. In Star Trek, a yellow shirt was a member of navigation, while a red shirt was part of security. (Although interestingly, red shirts did not die proportionally more than the other branches.) In the Harry Potter series, Hufflepuff's color - as can be seen by Cedric's Quidditch shirt - was yellow, while Gryffindor's - Harry's - was red.
