I suppose that might be true in some sense. People in northern latitudes eventually developed lighter skin through mutations. This is because of the fact that there's less sunlight in northern latitudes, and people with lighter skin were less likely to get vitamin D deficiencies. Black people closer to the equator were less likely to get sunburned. So I wouldn't say "Made", but yes there were different groups which adapted. Thank goodness we have Vitaman D supplements and Sunscreen in modern times.
