Harper walks over and holds it out to get there attention.
"Then we'd better hurry."

Nova: “We can’t stop what Sburb does, BUT, we can do something about Renata.”
Dave: “and not starting the session would be all according to renata’s plans, so yeah, we need to think fast when we get even a hint that shes here to kick our asses.”
(Dave and Nova over here sharing a single braincell like the iconic siblings they are lmaooooo)

"GUYS! over here! I have the thing thats important so get your heads out of your asses-"

Dave: “shit, what now”
*The two walk over*

She holds out the sburb copy clearly belonging to John

Dave: “holy f**k, that’s john’s copy of sburb…”
Nova: “Not gonna question how you got that.”

Harper: "my sister has a really big impressive godtier and she threw it at me through a portal."

Dave: “damn… maybe she knew?”

Harper: *shrugs* "I can only assume she did. Now how do we attempt and get this to John?"

Nova: “I can handle that.”

Harper: "please don't f**k it up." She carefully hands her the copy, "and you should probably leave a note apologizing for it being so jacked up."

Nova: “can do.”
*Nova teleports a sticky note and a pen to themself, writes an apology, sticks the note on the copy, and teleports it off.*

Somewhere, John gets hit in the face with his sburb copy. Harper thinks for a moment.
Harper: "wait- if we gave the copy to him, does that mean that's where Renata is headed?"

Dave: “damnit. youre probably right.”

Harper: "shit- we should probably get there too then."

Dave: “prepare for some intense timeline shenanigans.”
*Nova cracks their knuckles and teleports the three to John’s house*

John is there trying to get the sburb copy to not be snagged on his glasses.
John: "what the- Dave?"

Dave: “no time to explain, an angry troll is probably gonna kick your ass soon.”
Nova: “Don’t ask.”

John: "WHAT-"

Now would be a good time for Renata to bust in

*A large red gear appears in the middle of the room, turning. Nova and Dave stand back, knowing what’s going to happen next. The gear disappears, and a troll floats where it was.*
Nova: “oh god.”

Vines rise from the ground where Harper stands and wrap around her body, encasing her in a thick armor of plant matter and growing into a giant Venus flytrap that roars loudly at renata.

Renata: “Well, hey, if it isn’t the ‘heroes’.”
Dave: “shut the f**k up.”
Nova: “well, this will come in handy.”
*Nova holds the katana up and lets go of it. The sword floats, surrounded by a green glow.*

The flytrap, with its gaping mouth of razor sharp teeth, lunges at Renata.

*Renata stops the flytrap mid-movement and merely moves to the side, smiling. She then unpauses the flytrap's movement, and watches.*
Renata: "Come on, you can do better than TH@!"
(the @ is the one thing in her speech quirk, it replaces any 'at')

It snaps in the air, a force that probably would've torn her in half had she not dodged. Harper's connection to the green sun and the land of vines and glass houses is withering with the time and space change, and she can't keep this form for long.

Nova: “I have no idea, bro.”

??????: "i'm not even going to attempt and explain the not-rainbow colored time explosion, alright? just know that i'm here to kick ass on your side."

Dave: “…okay.”
Nova: “Just know, there’s a dead troll who came back to life and now she wants to destroy all of paradox space for some reason so we came here to discuss this.”

??????: "jesus christ- i wish i had been flung into like- ANY other time right now. alright, lets get introductions over with. the name's Harper. Harper Strider." she holds out her hand.

Nova: “Nova Strider.” *shakes Harper’s hand, and then lets go, allowing Dave to shake it*
Dave: “Dave.” *also shakes Harper’s hand*

Harper: "so- aha- whats that about the whole timeline getting disrupted?"

Nova: "angry Sylph of Time."
Dave: "i also get the feeling that you arent really supposed to be at this moment."
*Nova tosses the katana up and catches it perfectly*

Harper: "dang- uh oh."

Nova: "we think renata, the sylph of time, will attack within the next... 12 hours? long story short, she died, came back to life, reached godtier, and went insane."

Harper: "yikes. . .I could tell you guys what happened with me, but It might mess shit up further."

Dave: "yeah, shit's f**ked. i'd ask how you have the last name 'strider', but i don't want to know."
Nova: "OOH! Dave! What if you and Jade have a kid in the future?"
Dave: "nova, shut up."

Harper kinda gulps nervously and looks away. She's f**king awful at secrets and lying and such- and her eyes glow when she's nervous. Just great.

Nova: "What if I'm right, though?"
Dave: "nova, just shut up already, we're wasting time, and a ghost troll is trying to destroy the world or some shit like that."

Harper sits on the ground and leans against the wall, tapping her foot. Twelve whole hours?
"What the hell are we gonna do for twelve hours?"

Nova: "Well, within twelve hours, she could appear at any given moment."
Dave: "god, i hope not right now."

Harper puts her sunglasses over her head and takes a deep breath. She tries to think of any kind of plan. . .but smacking whoever it is in the face with Thorned vines seems about the most viable option right now.

Dave: "hold on. hold on a f**king second. think about why renata wants to attack TODAY of all days."
Nova: "it's a random day, no one will expec- oh. THAT's why."
Dave: "today's april 12th, 2009. if john doesn't get his copy of sburb..."
Nova: "Nothing will happen! So of course it's within the next twelve hours..."

She tries to make sense of it all. Random not rainbow sneeze, April 12th, cleo throwing something at her through a portal. . .wait a sec.

You take something from your jacket pocket and hold it high above your head. . .an imp blood stained copy of sburb with an old birthday note written on it.

???1(left): “The end of the world is gonna be worse now that we’ve got a dead troll came back to life, who can time travel like you can. She wants to end all of paradox space, and this Earth is gonna end anyways. I mean, look what happened to our older bro.”
*The person holds up the bloody katana*

Dave: “nope.”
