>They got stopped at the 38th parallel. Declare victory, the call red forces' performance unstoppable if you must.
And you couldn't beat them. You lost Pyongyang. How embarrassing for you and the mighty allied forces. Imagine how badly Germany would have stomped you in WWII if the Soviets weren't doing the heavy lifting.
>Vietnam was a dumb war, I feel no need to defend it. The Iraq and Afghanistan Wars: same.
LMAO cope, It was only a dumb war because you lost them, right...
>Eventually the politicians back home figured it out, and cut losses.
By 'cut their losses' you mean made trillions for the military industrial complex and stole half the Middle East's oil?
>These countries are simply not core interests for the West, and it was a mistake to ever think so.
A mistake is a good way to put it. Losing wars to farmers is quite humiliating.
>South Korea? Yeah. Ukraine, Taiwan? Perhaps. NATO territory? Certainly.
You'll say that Korea, Ukraine and Taiwan were stupid wars and wasn't in the west's interests when you lose those territories too. You always do when your military crumbles.
And you can't defend NATO territory from nuclear radiation so don't even bother starting shit with Russia or China cause they will slap you about and in the end nobody on earth will win after nuclear armageddon.
>Blah blah blah about the Korean War.
It was a military stalemate with an armistice and the past 70 or so years have been peace. There's no contradiction.
There hasn't been peace, the 2 sides have been shooting at each other from across the border and threatening one another for decades.
>My question to you about who "won the peace" is: Which country is a better place to live, today?
It's better to live in Beijing than Chicago or Detroit, that's for sure.
>Russia looks just fine from a satellite too. Wanna move there?
Having been to The US and Russia multiple times, I can safely say I would rather live in Moscow than D.C.
Same goes for other cities - I'd rather live in St. Petersburg than Los Angeles.
I'd rather live in Russia with tax-funded 'free' healthcare, better education and gun control than live in the divided, rude, chaotic, cultureless capitalist dystopia that is the USA.
