Despite the delivery company not being around in the US, the UK based company pulled the Australian subsidiary out of the competition and found the decision very difficult.

12,000 partner restaurants would have to give up Deliveroo and the employed 15,000 riders/drivers become unemployed with a 4 week pay out based on average earnings.

Australia is not alone with the farewelling of Deliveroo.
