It’s not an attempt to abolish the Senate, it’s only a temporary stopgap because there is a lack of quality Senate candidates as determined by the Head of Senate. It’s his job to try to find a path forward.

He could, of course, announce a random list of users as “Senators” that he has no expectation are going to show up to actually vote, but would that be helpful? Really? I think this way is more honest.

Anyway. Your constitutional objection has been raised and I’m sure Scar will have a look.
