Dude i hate that like they make us do a whole lesson about one text

Yeah my class was reading Tuck Everlasting and my teacher went ON AND ON about the wheel symbolism when a wheel doesn't even show up physically in the book. But there were more than enough frogs and toads to get someone wondering if that meant anything and we never mentioned it

When we read Spirit Bear it was absolute torture- we had to do WORKSHEETS! ENTIRE PRESENTATIONS on how birds and whales symbolized freedom!!
