sorry you were confused with some of the content, I kinda rushed this last night but I'll explain you what those ones mean...

When I say the GOP was colonised by Trump, remember when the GOP was once a centre-right party. It was okay to be considered okay to be neoconservative, like many people voted Republicans because it had good American values which offers great capitalism policies, removal of some red tape, pro life views, and support of the second amendment.

Ever since George W. Bush was no longer POTUS, many Americans voted Democrats and ditched the Republicans because of modern life and fears that the GOP would go too right and it has gone too right. Trump basically took over the GOP and turned it into a Far-Right party when it's not Far-Right.

When I say it's too late to save the GOP, I'm saying its too late for Trump's MAGA movement to give up controlling the traditional Centre-Right party of the Republicans.

I understand why you'd vote Democrats but I'm not giving up my Fiscal Economics and Religious Right views but I can certainly sacrifice some more Right Wing policies so I can be seen as a transparent political supporter of the GOP.

No low taxes is crazy

depends on how low taxes get. I believe in like a flat tax rate and that would be particularly be low for the rich. I used to believe in a flat rate for those who earn AUD $45,000+ to gain a 30% tax rate, but I'd believe like 25% for that wage but that's in Australia.

If I was American, I'd make the tax rate like 10% for everyone earning the first $20,000 with no minimum wage or something. I'd probably need to do more research

My problem with “low taxes” as a slogan in this country is it generally means a $100 tax cut for working families and a $1 billion tax cut for people worth $10 billion or more.

Figures made-up for illustrative purposes (it gets complicated in a hurry), but basically, you’re just giving free money to people who don’t need it and in exchange you’re either slashing public services or putting expenses on the national debt credit card for future generations to pay.

Taxes should go up on the rich, stay about the same on the middle-class and go down for struggling working families.
