Tom: Muggers, what else would they want? *Looks down at one of them* Anyway, we should get out of here before someone looks down here and gets the wrong idea

Tom: *Backflips off of the mugger, switching his place with him and slams him onto the ground*

Tom: *Jumps off a wall, kicking another and roundhouse kicks the other mugger*

Reysar: “Hey! Stop!”

Tom: *Stomps on the mugger's foot and flips over his back, hard* Thanks-!
Mugger 3: *Swings a crowbar at Tom's head*
Tom: *Ducks and kicks his kneecap in, then punches him into a wall*

“Don’t mention it. You’re very good at fighting.” *summons vines and tangles the 2nd and 3rd muggers, pinning them against the wall*

Mugger 4: ACK
Mugger 5: WHAT THE-!?
Tom: Thanks *Summons clones which both punch them in the heads, knocking them out, then the clones disappeared*

*confuzzled* “Clones?”

Tom: Uh- Yeah-

“What are you, anyway? You’re definitely not human.”

Tom: Er- I'll explain later, but first we should get out of here before those guys get up again

*more confuzzled* “Why don’t you call the police?”

Tom: Because due to the impact, pretty sure they won't even remember that they're even muggers, I know that's probably not possible, but I've managed to do it once *Rubs back of his head* Anyway, we should go *Walks out of the alleyway*

*follows him* “Have you acquired injuries? They were hitting you pretty hard.”

Tom: I do have a few bruises and... *Touches his lip, it was bleeding* A bleeding lip, but I can take care of those myself!

“Are you sure you don’t need any help? Do you live nearby?”

Tom: No problem *Smiles at her*

*smiles back* (when you said pizza place I thought of FNAF flashbacks lol) “Well, I should probably get back home. It was meeting you though. I’ll stop by again sometime soon.” *waves, starts walking in another direction*

Tom: I gotta take that *Walks over to the phone* Tony's Pizzaria my name's Tom, how can I help you?
Phone: Hi, uh, do you guys do delivery
Tom: We do sir!
Phone: Perfect! Uh, can I get a large pepperoni pizza, a box of breadsticks, and a few containers of mild wings?
Tom: *Writes everything down* Ok! Sure thing!
Phone: Perfect, thanks! *Hangs up*
Tom: *Hangs up the phone* Ok, the first order of the day! *Starts cooking*

(Um. It’s 11:30. Who would be awake and ordering pizza at that hour, and technically, it would be the last order of the day or something.)

(( Ok, well, think about it this way. This pizza place is open 24/7 and the guy was having a little friend hangout that lasted a little longer than he wanted so he decided to get pizza. And Tom meant the first order of his shift. The day is night for him and, well you know. So, yeah. Sorry I didn't make any sense

“What can I do to help?”

Tom: *Flatting out the dough* Can you get me the pizza sauce, cheese, and pepperoni? They're in the fridge. Just walk by the ovens, take a right and you'd see a big industrial door, that's where it is

“Okey dokey!” *follows directions and enters the fridge, spends a minute looking for the stuff and then taking it back to Tom*

Tom: *Has the breadsticks baking and the wings frying* Thanks for getting those! *Puts the toppings on the pizza dough that he's flattened out and puts it in the oven* That should take a few minutes

*looks at him with deep respect* “You are very good at this. How do you do this so well?”

Tom: I live close, yeah, I'll be fine, I swear... I'm Tom, by the way, you? *Gives her a little smile*

“My name is Samria. Sam is fine too though.” *grins*

Tom: Alright, nice to meet you Sam.... Now about me not being human-

“I’m listening.”

Tom: I am Technically human, but being born with powers and having your DNA fused with a fox's not really helping that factor... I come from a family full of supers

“Really? Wow, that sounds super cool. Me and my family live in a big house along the coast, all 14 of us Ariesolls. We’ve got plant magic and super-strength, horns and tails and ears, but other than that, we’re pretty normal.”

Tom: Heh, nice to know there's other families like mine *Warmly smiles at her*

*smiles back and laughs* “We aren’t supers though. We’re more widely known as Supernaturals, but our family, or clan, is called Ariesoll. We’re really from the next dimension over.”

Tom: *Gets his break at 10, resumes at 10:30*

*by then Samria is on her way and walking up to the building, I guess*

Tom: Listen to me closely, practice. Lots, and lots, of practice *Gets the wings out of the fryer, pours the mild sauce on them and tosses them a bit, then puts the wings in a container* Can you get the peel, the stick with the flat plate looking thing at the end, and get the breadsticks out of the oven for me Sam? It's hung up on the wall next to the ovens *Closes the container and puts the wings in a bag*

“Ummm. Yeah.” Goes over by the ovens and pulls the breadsticks out with her bare hands (forgot to mention that Ariesolls are incredibly resistant to hot and cold temperatures) and then grabs the peel, then runs back to Tom. “So how long have you worked here if you have so much practice?”

Tom: *Puts the sticks in a container with some marinara sauce cups and closes the container* Uh... About... two years now I think... I started here when I was 16 *Bags the breadsticks*

“That’s a long time. Do you have any coworkers, or is it just you??”

Tom: *Reading a comic book, waiting for customers, humming a song he likes*

*he hears knocking at the front entrance since the doors are locked* “Hello? Tom? Hellooooooo???”

Tom: I used to have someone with me but they left the state. There are a lot of people at the opening shift though, but for a while until now, it was just me
*A timer dinged*
Tom: Time to get the pizza! *Walks over to it, grabs the peel from Sam and got the pizza out, then boxes it and bags it* Ok- Wait a minute- That guy didn't give me the address...
*The phone suddenly rang*
Tom: - That must be him- *Answers it* Hello, Tony's Pizza
Phone: Hi, sorry to call again but I forgot to tell you the address
Tom: Its perfectly fine, sir! Would you like to tell me the address?
Phone: Yeah, its 3412, Jacks Avenue
Tom: *Writes it down* Perfect! Your food is on its way!
Phone: Thank you
*Tom hung up and labeled the bag, then grabbed it*
Tom: Wanna come with me to deliver?

Tom: -? Oh! *Goes over to the door and unlocks them* Hey Sam!

“Hi! I hope I’m not too late or something. I had trouble getting out of the house.”

Tom: Wow, that's pretty cool *Laughs a bit*

*pause* “So, why were you being mugged anyways? *looks at him* “You don’t look like you have a lot of money on you.”

Tom: Well... *Rubs back of neck* Most of it is because I've been mutated into fox hybrids, and people don't really take kindly to that around here... And I guess they pinned me as a easy target, plus I get a pretty good pay at my job

*tilts head* “How old are you, anyway?”

Tom: 18, I know, surprising, heh

“I’m 19 and I’m literally 5 feet tall. It doesn’t get much worse, unless you’re a Daliaha. I don’t have a job yet though.”

Tom: Hm... Hey, the place I work at is hiring, maybe you could try there? And trust me, my friend HJ's much smaller, he's 17 and only the size of a toddler, he looks like on too *Smiling a bit*

“Hah! What job is it?”

Tom: It's the pizza place down by the arcade at the shopping plaza, the one across the road from that run-down-looking auto shop. I'll tell my boss to consider you if you're interested

“I’ll look into it, thanks for the suggestion,”

Tom: No, homeroom hasn't even started yet, don't worry you're on time *Smiles*

“Wait I thought it was 10:30?! When does school start here??!!”

Tom: Uh.... *Looks at schedule* Usually around 10:35. But we get out at around 5 pm

“Ohhhh. Well now I feel stupid. I had, like, TWELVE panic attacks and I’m pretty sure my heart stopped at least twice this morning.”

Tom: Heh- I don't blame you, I was the same way my first time here too

*flops on the desk and kinda just dies* "What do you even do at a high school?"

Tom: Well, *Leans back in his chair* Learn, eat, hang out with friends, eat more, learn more... mess around a bit during break hour. *Looks down at her* You know, life *Smiles a bit*

"That sounds so BORING though! How do you survive?"

Tom: Your perfectly fine! We opened not too long ago *Props the door open with a door holder* Follow me to my boss's office *Walks to the back of the restaurant*

*looking at everything* “It’s nice in here. Definitely warmer than outside.”

Jack: Ok *Pulls out a piece of paper* Do you have any experience in working with others?

“Yes. If you count helping my mom keep track of my 12 chaotic little siblings and running a household without another parental figure.”

Jack: *Nods* Ok, uh, do you have experience with ovens or cooking appliances?

“Yes. I can cook a bunch of things and move quickly if needed.”

Jack: Nope not at all *Smiles and stamps something on the paper* Alright, come in tomorrow, show me what you can do, until then, you're hired until further notice!

*grins* “Okay then! What time?”

Jack: come in around 8 tomorrow night, Tom'll give you the rundown!

*stands up and reaches to shake his hand again* “Alright! Thank you for this opportunity. I won’t let you down!”

Jack: *Shakes it, smiling* I'm sure you won't, Samria, now go home and get some rest, long night tomorrow

*The bell rang*
Teacher: Ok class! Can I have your attention and phones away for a second?
Tom: *Puts his phone away and looks forward*

*The bell rang after announcements and everyone got their bags and left*
Tom: *Grabs his bag* What's your first class, Sam?

"Ummmmmm. I don't... know... I thought you just came here and did... something."

Tom: Hm, do you have a schedule or anything?

"Uhhhh. No. Do I need one?"

Tom: Yyyyyyyeah, kinda, alright, how about this, we go to the principal's office so we arrange some classes for you, how does that sound?

Tom: Yeah, heh, especially with the constantly active pizza ovens *He stopped at a door and knocked*

Tom: *Opens the door* Hey Jack, we've got a new recruit for the nightshift
Jack: Oh! Perfect, are they here?
Tom: Yep! *Walks in and motions for Sam to follow him*

Jack: *Nods* Alright, are you able to stay up for long periods of time and/or drive?

“Yes and yes. I can store energy to use when I get tired or sleepy, and I would not be here if I couldn’t drive.”

Jack: Ok! Uh, last question, do you have any history with any illegal substance and/or illegal activity?

“Like drugs?”

Jack: *Looks down at Sam, curiously*
Tom: Jack this is Samria, she's a friend of mine
Jack: Well, it's a pleasure to meet you, Samria, I'm Jack, Tom's boss *smiling a bit and he held his hand out for her to shake*

Jack: Tom, if you please
Tom: *Nods and leaves the room*
Jack: *Motions to a chair across from his desk* Take a seat, Samria

Tom: *smiles* Alright

“Oh and how’s the cut on your lip healing? It looked pretty bad yesterday.”

Jack: Yes, like drugs or drug dealing

“Then no. However, i did punch a guy in the face when I first met Tom. He was getting mugged in an alleyway the other day. Hope that doesn’t complicate things.”

*The door closed*
Tom: *Leaning against the wall across from her in the hall* How'd it go? *Smiling*

*grinning* “I’m hired until further notice. How much of your shift do you have left?”

Tom: It's doing a lot better, my bruises are still on me though, but I can deal with that

“I bet. You’re really tough.”

Tom: *Looks at watch* I get off in two hours, you wanna hang around till then? Or you gotta head back home?

“It’s an hour drive back to the house, and I’ve only met you yesterday. It would be nice to get to know you more.”

Tom: *Smiles a bit* Don't worry, it'll be in and out, quick visit, then we could head to your class

Tom: Alright!
*They got into the delivery car, a silver honda civic with the Tony's Pizza logo on the top, a little Italian dude holding a box of pizza that says "Tony's Pizza", in a chefs outfit*
Tom: *Puts the pizza in the back seat, jingling the keys in his palm, then he got in the drivers seat and turned the key into ignition*

*gets into the shotgun seat and clicks on the seat belt*

Tom: I bought it from a store I like, it's similar to Five Below. If you like it you can keep it if you want, black isn't really my kind of color

“Really? I don’t want to steal your clothes or anything…” *obviously wants the sweater lol*

Tom: It's not stealing if I'm giving it to you, and I can tell you want it so, you can go ahead and take it! Plus it's gotten a bit small on me *Smiles at her*

“Aww Thank you!” *there’s a look in her eyes that says ‘I will cherish this forever’*

Tom: -Mind: now that i've got to know her, she's kinda cute in a way- No problem, Sam *Nicely smiles*

*they arrive back at the pizza place, and when Samria opens the door she falls out onto the cement* “Ack—“ *stands back up* “Whoo that was embarrassing!”

Tom: *Clicks his seatbelt and backs out of the lot, then heads to the destination*

*stares out the window the whole time, jumping at the slightest noise and flinching when lights flash*

Tom: *Chuckles a bit then gets out* You ok? *Grinning*

“Yeah yeah.” *laughs and smiles, hugging the hoodie*

*After a few hours, Tom's shift was over*
Tom: *Grabs his hoodie and puts it on over his work shirt* Alright, I'm gonna go home

“Okay! Do you need to lock up?”

Tom: *Looks over at her* ? You doing ok Sam? *Looks a bit worried for her*

*flinches and looks over at him* “Um yeah I’m fine… it’s just so big and bright and LOUD.”

Tom: *Nods*
Jack: *Leaves out the back door* Night Tom!
Tom: Night Jack! *Turns off the lights, leaving the back room lights on* Lets go *Walks to the back door*

Tom: Hm... *Looks around* i think i have a hoodie and earmuffs in here somewhere

“Oh n-no you don’t have to! I’ll be fine!” *waves hand and laughs nervously*

Tom: *Walks through the back door and locks it with his key*

*waves and walks outside* “Thanks again for the hoodie. ‘Night, Tom!”

Tom: Are you sure...? I'd rather you be comfortable and feel safe then scared-

“That’s really sweet of you.” *pause* “Maybe I will use that hoodie. Earmuffs wouldn’t exactly fit me.” *points to her ears, which look similar to a dogs*

Tom: No problem, night Sam! I'll see you tomorrow night, maybe sooner! *Smiles and waves bye, then walks away*

*gets into car and sighs* (mind:) “That was wonderful…”

*She saw Tom run in a cyan blur out the corner of her eye, then he turned the corner to go home*

*turned the key in the ignition and started the hour drive home*

Tom: *Walks into school and goes to homeroom*

Tom: *Smiles* Alright *Finds a large black hoodie* Here, it might be a bit big but the hood should cover your eyes *Hands her the hoodie*

*covers head with it and smiles* “Thanks, Tom, this helps a lot.”

Tom: *Walking there, listening to music and watching something on his phone*

*you hear a loud thud and suddenly Sam is on the floor, panting* “What classroom is this?!”

Tom: *Smiles* Your welcome, Sam *Turns into a road and parks on the side, then grabs the bag* I'll be back in a second *Gets out the car and goes to deliver*

*Got home and screamed into a pillow and then fell asleep wondering if she was going to see Tom again the next day*

*Tom knocked on the door then a man opened it, and their conversation was silent. The man took the bag from Tom and handed him some cash, Tom nodded and seemed to say bye, then he approached the car again*

*reaches over and pushed the door open* “ Is there anything else or do we just leave now?”

Tom: *Laughs a bit* Yeah

“Sooo. Did I miss anything important? I don’t actually know when school starts.”

Teacher: This is Mr. Turnpek's classroom, mine. And I'm pretty sure you're in here

*pumps fist in the air* “Yessssssss.” *stands up and sits at the desk next to Toms* (to Tom-) “Did you have a good sleep last night?”

Tom: *Gets in and closes the door* Nothing else, we can just go *Turns the key into ignition* Got the hoodie? *smiles a bit, glad he managed to help*

“Yeah. It’s super soft, where’d you buy it?”

Tom: *Gets up and gets ready for highschool* One more year, and I'm free... *Sighs*

*wakes up on the couch and just looks at everything before getting up* “Oh dnnfisaulf (SN curse word I guess). High school will be the death of me…” *looks over at a clock for the first time that morning and realizes it’s almost 10:00 am* “AH SHOOT! WHY DID NO ONE WAKE ME UP!!!???” *gets ready and rushes to the high school*
