Aw hell naw. You were here, as IG, and I'm certain you still remember it all, unless you stroked out like John Fetterman.
But *sigh* let's take a trip down memory lane, anyway. For the newcomers and the old-timers.
The beginning of 2021 was turbulent - my pet theory is that was related to the chaos and general political angst swirling around the 2020 election and Trump's rough transition period. I think this was the period of MAGA's reign of terror, and WhiteNats and MoonMans and other inauthentic accounts were still swirling around. I actually left the stream for awhile because it was too much.
Out of the chaos, the Right-Unity Party emerged and kind of calmed things down, and there was an Era of Good Feelings under Presidents Wubbzymon and Pr1ce. I returned to I_P and joined up with RUP, eventually founded N.E.R.D. and we had the Imgflip_Bank going for a time.
Then IG (i.e. you) blew it all to bits when you stabbed Pr1ce in the back to run for RUP's Presidential nomination yourself (you held the cards, since you controlled the "Memechat Empire"), and you also got yourself impeached for being homophobic and passing censorship bills and just being an all-around ass. RUP's appealing brand of big-tent ideological unity and keeping the trains running on-time was ruined.
The "Libertarian Alliance" (a confederation of N.E.R.D., Holy Crusader Party, Common Sense Party, and Pepe Party) emerged as a bloc to stop and beat RUP. Though the impeachment failed (impeachments being virtually destined to fail), we won the election.
RUP re-formed under the name "Conservative Party" and won the next election, I believe. Now we're getting into about 2022. It got pretty boring and forgettable, honestly. IG eventually got his account deleted for more shenanigans. We had President Fidelsmooker and the short-lived but glorious PPolice war. We had President ChthonicGnosis and President SurlyKong who kept things entertaining with meme competitions.
A new challenger emerged in the form of BritishMormon and "Choose the Right Party" who formed an organization suspiciously built upon the same fixations as Conservative Party and Right-Unity Party. You won the Presidency, stubbornly tried to run for re-election to a 3rd term in 1 year, and got DQ'd and outed as IG when you refused to simply step aside and run for literally any other office (since no office is term-limited under the Constitution, other than President).
