There's a difference between resorting to such measures and being remorseful about it (Biden), and knowing there are children in the event and still calling for teargas and defending your position without showing any remorse of any kind that such actions needed to be taken (Trump).

And no there is no difference. At the end of the day you still have the border gastapo putting brown kids in cages by order of the president. I don't give a shit if Biden feels slightly bad about it if he's still doing it. You don't care about anything except being a useful idiot to the democratic party.

Pattern of behavior. Joe Biden has publicly expressed his sympathies on various topics. I could be cynical and say that these speeches are written for him. So what if they are? That doesn't mean he doesn't share those sentiments. It doesn't mean the feeling isn't there.

With Trump, you'd get at most "What a shame." As if someone had befallen bad luck, but they would recover as if it was a game of cards. I mean, Trump has shown passion before but in a way that uses anger and hateful rhetoric.

Followers of Biden believe his false remorse the same way followers of Trump believe his claims of voter fraud.

Narcissists don't have remorse - just false remorse. I can't readily think of someone who registers more extremely on the narcissism scale than Trump. I don't see Biden being in that same class.
