It's based on a thing from the early days of the stream that inkmatas_calamatas started

Wait inkmatas started lemon demon?

The title will be “Lemon Demon, Bane of Imgflip-Bossfights

The lemon corruption was originally defeated by using potassium based magic, and then it was put in an empty universe, which was then sealed in a special gem in a potassium altar

People would put bananas into the gem, hoping the corruption would never gain the power to escape

However, over time this became less effective

You see, while it was sealed in the gem and they were putting bananas in, it began to get an immunity to potassium, and other fruits

It knew that if it was going to escape it would need to deal with other fruits as well, so it needed to become more resilient

After several years it had grown to the size of the witherstorm

It was now able to consume the bananas they were putting in to add to it's mass

However by this time, Jeff had reawoke

When he was corrupted by the lemons, he was put into a regenerative sleep in a cave on a far away planet

(Yes this means Jeff version 2 isn't canon, I don't like how that one turned out)

Jeff was able to sense there was a strange purity to his universe

However he knew the lemon corruption wasn't completely vanquished

He flew to the planet where it all began and was astonished to see that everything was peaceful

He had no idea how long he was gone but eventually gained an idea

He found a statue

It was of him ripping the head off of a lemon demon

With words on the base that read:
"His sacrifice will not be forgotten, R.I.P. Jeff"

He must have been gone for a long time

Eventually he found the altar

He stayed near the village and observed the residents for a few days

He saw that they give bananas to the altar and they would be absorbed by the gem

However he could faintly see a black blob in the center of the gem, it was the corruption

It would pulsate every time a banana was put in

He knew what he must do

He entered the gem

Everything was dark, it was filled with a dark red light

The corruption did not attack, it wanted Jeff to enter it's core... it wanted a battle after years of loneliness

(Picture the "finally a worthy opponent" meme)

He entered the core and saw a massive lemon, suspended by black tendrils and slime

It spoke to him in a distorted, demonic voice

"So, you finally come to challenge me..."

"...Are you finally ready to join me in multiversal domination?"

Jeff was not a man of many words
However actions speak much louder

He pulled out...

An O N I O N

It was glowing with meme energy, Jeff was surprised the corruption didn't sense it on the way in

He had put in a fraction of his power

He was very similar to amalgameme (who he hadn't met yet) so he had plenty to spare

But he was far stronger than it

He was not only blessed with meme energy, but also the hopes and dreams of an entire planet begging for survival

But back to the onion

Sure the corruption was now resilient to all other fruit, but in the process lost all resistance to vegetables

So guess what would a meme energy enchanted onion could do

The corruption knocked the onion out of Jeff's hand, it screeched in pain upon touching it

The black tendrils detached from the wall and began to form a body for the corruption to fight with

Soon it was complete, it towered over Jeff, more lemons began to emerge from the walls of the core

Although it was all a hivemind, meaning only the corruption was watching, it would be quite the show

Jeff launched himself straight towards the eye, plunging his sword right through

The corruption screeched and threw him into one of the walls as it pulled the sword out and began regenerating

However it had made one fatal mistake

He had landed right next to the onion

Everything was decaying in a small radius around it

There was only one thing to do

The eye had fully healed and had immediately started looking around to find Jeff

Jeff stood upon a mound of lemons, holding the onion above his head

He tore it in half and the core was consumed by light

When the light faded all that was left was a singular, normal sized lemon, with an eye

Jeff flew over to it, he grabbed it... And...

*Squish*

The corruption was vanquished

All was saved

"The HOPES AND DREAMS of a planet begging for survival.."

I know, but look at the lemon corruption

It's a NIGHTMARE

Hopes and dreams could fit as a Jeff theme but for this fight your best nightmare fits better

I know but I'm not saying hopes and dreams should be a song for this fight

I just saw hopes and dreams and thought it was an undertale reference

I can see why but it wasn't intentional

I imagine Hopes and Dreams (The undertale one) playing in the background of the fight

I don't think that fits very well
