How to make good Al dente pasta (cringe style); First add the water to a pot to around halfway then turn your stove to max heat. Add 2 Bay leaf, 2 spoonfuls of salt, and you will have to eyeball the amount of oil but do a slow pour. Once the water is at boiling temp you put your pasta of choice into the water and start a clock for 20 minutes give or take. Stir it so it doesn't stick together. After around a minute of stirring you let it sit and cook for 19 minutes. during that time you get you set up your sauce and other stuff if desired. Once the pasta is done you pour it into a colander and shake it to get the water out. Turn off the stove and put the sauce in the same pot you cooked the pasta in then put the pasta in once it is drained. add cheese and you are done
