what's wrong with botw?

It used to be new, and I still haven't forgiven it for that. Way too many people liked it, it added weapon breaking mechanics, the side characters were kinda mid, and the i-pad felt like an insult to me. Link don't need no i-pad that lets him stop time and charge up a rock so that when time unfreezes it will blow Ganon's head off.

1st: I respect your opinion.
2nd: Side characters are meh, but that's not the point.
3rd: I understand disliking Botw for its different nature. But that is the entire point. It was a game to break away from the continuous concept of dungeon crawling with specialized tools. The only limitations past the Great Plateau is your will. Being able to do anything so long as you want to do it enough. There is over 200+ hours of content, and you can beat it in under 1. It's about adventure rather than questing. That's what makes it special. But there's no problem with not liking it.
