Florida’s new Office of Election Crimes and Security has recommended state police launch a criminal investigation after a Democrat whistleblower filed a detailed complaint about widespread ballot harvesting in central Florida’s African-American communities.
Cynthia Harris, former Orange County Commissioner, filed a sworn affidavit in August alleging the illegal operations to collect third-party ballots have been going on for years in the Orlando area.
She alleged that voting activists are paid $10 for each ballot they collect.
