The thing is, youtube doesn't have any good replacements. If YouTube were to die off the internet would be in an odd state for at least a bit and it's not like TikTok could take YouTube's place because the videos are too short.

demonetize creators for not being “kid friendly” when they have their own youtube kids site
removing classic videos or forcing changes
formatting their site so they’re no longer their own thing and are trying to look like everyone else

At least no one focuses their career on YouTube kids, but on YouTube
Almost everyone watches the real version anyway
