MHA surpassing a lot of *recent* western comic books. Not classic comic books. Not the Kevin Feige Marvel movies leading up to Endgame. Recent comic books-the ones Young Rippa and Just Some Guy make fun of. A lot of recent Western media is going down south. Politics aside, a lot of them are untrained cartoonists because the people who hired them refuse to train them and pay them a child's allowance-so yes, a lot of recent anime and manga is better than a lot of recent western entertainment.
It surpasses the She Hulk and recent Batwoman.
It surpasses the Last Jedi and Rings of Power, sure. Not the Peter Jackson films. Not the older Star Wars or Dave Filoni Star Wars.

Because Amazon has f**ked up with Rings of Power, and because Disney has f**ked up with a lot of Star Wars (and because Visions was pretty good), and because a lot of DC and Marvel TV shows and animations have been or become bad (recently), I would entrust the Japanese to do a more respectful job while still doing their own thing. By recent I mean in the past few years. I don't mean when the Marvel Cinematic Universe or DC Animated Universe was in its prime.
