If I was a flute maker & made a beautiful flute that sounded surprisingly good considering its age and the unconventional materials it was made from, I'd be sad if it was locked away & never played. She can play, and it sounded great.
I think it's more the fact that she twerked whilst playing a priceless 200 year old historical artefact owned by one of the founding fathers. It might also be the inherent dislike people have of flautists because they are so arrogant
It's more that she's a large black woman that gives 0 f**ks what they think that upsets them. See the "Lizzo doesn't want white people listening to her music" dust up and compare it to what she actually said.
