Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelllllllllllllllllllll your second to last statement is very contradicting, an oc is a character you made correct? It just has to be something no one has made before, and something that is purely your own. Like if I drew a taco with hair and named him frank that could be an oc. No one has made a taco with hair named frank before (to my knowledge). Literally all I did was draw a taco with hair and I gave it a name. I took something that already existed, customized and made it my own. The creator of the taco doesn’t own frank, I do. Making Ocs with gacha, Roblox, Solcalibur 6, and some other 4th thing is still making an oc, you’re taking what’s given to you and making it into something that is your own. I do agree that blatantly copying an existing character or someone else’s oc is not an oc, because it is just copying and not something you made yourself.

And like I said making anything using a maker doesn’t make it your oc because it was all premade so the thing you supposedly made has already been made a long time ago by the creator of the maker
You really don’t know how many people have made the same exact thing before using the same maker
So it can’t really be your oc but actually just a character you made using a maker

Character creators like Roblox and solcalibur 6(idk about gacha I’ve never touched that) are literally just taking things that already exist and arranging them in a new order to make something new. Not sure it’s possible for the creator of the maker to try every single combination, at least for Roblox and Soulcalibur. In Soulcalibur, there are multiple races, faces, hats, colors, clothes, patterns for said clothes and hats, voices, weapon customizations, extras to add literally anywhere on your character etc etc, so it seems a bit goofy to say that they’ve tried every combination. Also it seems your main point is it can’t be an oc, it’s just a character you made, but isn’t a character you made an oc??
