There’s absolutely no justification for BM/IG flagging those comments. I was discussing proposed constitutional amendments, and specifically, proposing a deal — as opposition leader to the President — in the hopes of getting two amendments passed at once in a bipartisan fashion. If anything ought to be protected speech here at IMGFLIP_PRESIDENTS, it’s the business of government. There’s really no purpose to being here if elected officials can’t talk politics freely. If the opposition cannot speak, then forget about calling this a democracy.

What he’s done here is the Imgflip equivalent of an attempted Senate floor caning.

Of course, he knows from past experience (specifically, under the IncognitoGuy account) what can happen to modships here (i.e., terminated) if questionable deletions are on a mod’s record. So, he wanted to cross his fingers and hope someone else would do his dirty work for him. (Not realizing, I suppose, that every other mod on the I_P roster is a much better judge of content than he is.) And a good thing, too, because if someone had actually approved his absurd flags, even thoughtlessly or by mistake, then this scandal would be on them as well.

This is a corrupt attempted abuse of mod by proxy, censorship, retaliation, and certainly grounds for more count(s) of impeachment charges — though with his Presidency ending in just two weeks and his term-limited status confirmed, why bother?
