I agree there really isn’t anything worth looking forward to in basic gameplay ya’know it seems like it’s Minecraft 1.20: The Random Bullshit Update

Updates like the nether update are what we really need/want. It completely changed Minecraft’s gameplay. That is what we should get more of but we don’t get them often.

For anyone complaining about them not announcing as many features, it’s because we complained about many mentioned things from previous events getting scrapped/never planned to be added in the first place, so Mojang listened and only gave us what they knew were 100% getting added.

Tldr: Community complained about things from Minecraft Live not getting added, so Mojang decided to not mention things they are not 100% sure they are adding, creating a side effect of us not getting as much announced features.
