Word of Jesus

The lame aren't allowed disability and can't afford insurance, the deaf can't afford batteries for their hearing aides, the dead can't afford a proper burial, and the "good news" is used to shame and shun against good people just trying to live.

The blind still believe this nonsense.

but in the spirit, those blind and deaf will see and hear His message, the sick and dead in the spirit will be cured and given new life in the ways of Jesus, and the Good News will be given to the poor in spirit, as for the physical, all who believe in Jesus will have all these things done and life forever in the new Kingdom.

Casually let people suffer through their lives now because you think they'll be fine when they finally die. You could actually try to fix some of these things, but no. Put it in "god's hands" so you don't have to take any responsibility for it.

And you wonder why people are against this "philosophy".

of course its important and good to help people in their physical, but why fix the flesh and not fix the soul? sure you can end peoples physical suffering and give them a better life, but whats the point of that when the spirit and soul are still suffering and lost?

Your assumption that anyone who doesn't follow your narrow viewpoint is suffering or lost spiritually is once again part of the problem. Only helping people if they agree to follow your way of thinking or holding it over them like some kind of debt to be repaid is not goodness, it is manipulation.

The same kind of manipulation that leads children to take fantasy as truth to begin with to repeat the cycle of lies and control that has perpetuated senselessly for hundreds of years now.
