Region M (Mizera) - A land of former majesty and power with strong magic and technology, lost to demons. All its inhabitants are either evacuated to other regions, dead, or missing. I strongly advise you do not let john go here next.
Mizera was once a place of great beauty and natural abundance settled by persecuted nomads and is said to be the first land to have the demon hunters. It was unknown why, but at some point a magic veil appeared from the capital and spread a gray ash and blood-red sky where wounds don't heal and things became buried and flipped under the ash. Gothic architecture is everywhere on the surface but the technological underground fell into darkness, full of beasts.
A great wall was kept to keep demons in, but when a greater demon appears the army can send groups in to exterminate it. The mortality rate is high and hopelessness is everywhere.
also did I mention the demons? for some reason a lot of demons come from here and noone knows why except for the people that scout the area of which most die.
everyone hates this place, inspired by that one guy that named his cat a racial slur and victorian horror along with that one uh game with the funny hat.
