Be careful, some people use that question to dismiss religious trauma. Many people have legitimate reason to leave/avoid the church.

Many people leave their churches because of the expectations they put on the human beings in that church rather than focusing on the purpose of the religion which is a spiritual experience between the individual and God.

Woah Nelly is that a fact and a half! The corner I've recently turned was simply shifting my focus away from those cases exclusively. Like, religion isn't all bad. I mean, not categorically. Certainly not for everyone. The last thing I'd do is try to invalidate someone else's experiences. Holy shit is that a sacred cow. You damn well better believe people have a right to their own freaking experiences. Good lord, I should be crucified myself if I ever tried to take that away. Christ.

I'm definitely not a "read the manual" kind of person. I'm more a "let's fxck this up every way possible on the way to doing it properly so the success has a richer context and deeper meaning" kind of person. 🤷

To the casual observer it may appear that I'm just a shallow, thoughtless ass, but this is quite wrong. In truth I'm so deep that I've never touched bottom, and so full of thoughts that they pour out in streams. 😟

I enjoy the banter you bring to the site, please don't stop. What helps me keep my head is pause peruse before posting.
