Yes. But 'anything my favourite right wing populist disagrees with' is not one of them. 😉

funny thing is many of them ARE left...... and dont even know it.

The fundamental differences between left-wing and right-wing ideologies center around the the rights of individuals vs. the power of the government. Left-wing beliefs are liberal in that they believe society is best served with an expanded role for the government. People on the right believe that the best outcome for society is achieved when individual rights and civil liberties are paramount and the role — and especially the power — of the government is minimized.

My guess is 80% of us are a mix of both.

Fully agree. Not many people are fully 'left', nor 'right'. As we are all individuals. With different ideas and different backgrounds, different goals and different perspectives. But most of us - and I am convinced of that - just want to live our lives without making things miserable for others. It's just that handful of people that enjoy and even take pride in hurting others that stand in the way of a good life for every living being. If only one day we could eradicate greed and selfishness, that 'd be grand. So let's keep on striving towards that goal. Everyone, from 'left' to 'right'. 🖖

Try to tell that to the politics stream kids. They seem to believe they are 100% 'right' and those who don't think like they do are 100% 'left.' I think the psychologists call it 'splitting.'

I love to tell right wing people that some of their ideas are actually 'left' ;-)
