Man, such a simple piece, yet so familiar. Everybody growing up during my era knew at least one practitioner of this style. The laid-back attitude, the way her foot sits casually stop the skateboard, the way one can scarcely make out her peace gesture underneath her baggy sleeve (another seemingly favourite idea for this artist), and the bandage on her knee all add to the lore of this everyday, probably street-smart yet cool and confident skater darling created by my favourite darling artiste.
