Truth? I would not be at all surprised. I mean he's guilty of involuntary 'birthing person' slaughter at most. Most judges would just wag a finger at him and say the equivalent of, "You've been a naughty boy Fawlty. Don't do that again!"
Unless, of course Alec were a conservative; then, of course, he would definitely be on trial for committing a deliberate act of murder.
