Because global poverty or preventable disease is America’s fault (Or capitalism’s for that matter), and not authoritarianism and dictators.

fascism is capitalism's final form and is basically capitalism on steroids and bc I don't have free healthcare or much money now I can't get the help I need just bc I don't have the money
in capitalism its about maximizing profits as much as possible while in communism its about helping your community if you look at the policy of having free healthcare it's considered left-wing bc your not trying to maximize the economy thru medical things like medicines or tools
with capitalism, money is more important than helping the people
needless starvation is popular among these capitalist nations but overconsumption market inefficiencies and lack of incentive to better distribute food comes at a cost to the people the institute for food and development policy calculates that we make enough food to feed everyone 1.5 times the population of the earth
and according to the world health organization, 1.5 million people die easily from vaccine-preventable diseases simply bc they could not afford it the markets don't incentivize companies to help people but to make a profit and make people pay extortionate sums of money for basic and important medication and treatments so millions who cannot afford them have to go without which often leads to death simply bc they cannot pay for them we have also seen this during the covid 19 crisis where poorer countries couldn't get there hands on the vaccine as soon as resource-rich states like the US and Britain another problem is lack of access to clean water which causes diseases that kill over 1.6 mil people every year
according to the world health organization 785 mil people lack even a basic drinking water service including 144 mil people who are dependent on surface water globally 2 bil people use a drinking water source contaminated with feces we have invented many ways of purifying it but bc of capitalisms prioritization of private profit over human interests/needs those resources don't go to those who don't pay
(usually, those who need them the most) and so people die
we covered how capitalism exploits medicine needless starvation and people don't have clean drinking water

20 million is much much more than the actual truth these numbers came from the big black book of communism which has been debunked and even the authors of the book tried to distance themselves from the book those numbers were simply inflated to drive a point with their anti-communist propaganda

0 ups, 2y,

Let's pretend those numbers are correct. They're not. But let's pretend they are.
Government sanctions slavery is STILL BEING USED in communist countries like China and Vietnam. Government sanctioned genocide is STILL taking place in communist China. (Millions of Uighurs & Tibetans "disappearing" to slave labor camps and all that implies.
Vietnam, Korea, Cambodia, etcetera: after the "capitalists" left, the communists starved out, tortured and killed millions upon millions.
Marxism, or more specifically the communist dictatorships that always result from Marxism are responsible for more suffering and death that anything in history. Only the black death and Genghis Khan beat communism in percent of world population killed.
And we're a couple years away from Marxism claiming another billion lives as an unintended side effect of world war 3. The poorest people on the earth only eat because of free grain from rich countries. And when I say "rich countries" I'm talking about the west. I'm talking about capitalism.
Once world war three kicks off, the third world can go back to eating sand since the commies have no problem starving out their own people and you know they're not bailing out anyone else.

the kulaks starved themselves by destroying their crops and killing their animals the USSR didn't starve them they did it to themselves and they didn't do it on 1 occasion but on multiple occasions which is the reason why Ukraine starved during ww2 if they didn't do what they did they wouldn't have starved to them being dumb but I don't disagree with you on those auth communist countries it's not good imo as an extremist lib left I agree that those communist countries aren't holding true to what communism is for (for the people) they need to change I believe if direct democracy was introduced and banned markets and other things and just allowed the people to be the countries taken by auth communism wouldn't be that bad if reformed into a more libertarian communist country

`Their [kulak] opposition took the initial form of slaughtering their cattle and horses in preference to having them collectivized. The result was a grievous blow to Soviet agriculture, for most of the cattle and horses were owned by the kulaks. Between 1928 and 1933 the number of horses in the USSR declined from almost 30,000,000 to less than 15,000,000; of horned cattle from 70,000,000 (including 31,000,0000 cows) to 38,000,000 (including 20,000,000 cows); of sheep and goats from 147,000,000 to 50,000,000; and of hogs from 20,000,000 to 12,000,000. Soviet rural economy had not recovered from this staggering loss by 1941.

`... Some [kulaks] murdered officials, set the torch to the property of the collectives, and even burned their own crops and seed grain. More refused to sow or reap, perhaps on the assumption that the authorities would make concessions and would in any case feed them.

`The aftermath was the ``Ukraine famine'' of 1932--33 .... Lurid accounts, mostly fictional, appeared in the Nazi press in Germany and in the Hearst press in the United States, often illustrated with photographs that turned out to have been taken along the Volga in 1921 .... The ``famine'' was not, in its later stages, a result of food shortage, despite the sharp reduction of seed grain and harvests flowing from special requisitions in the spring of 1932 which were apparently occasioned by fear of war in Japan. Most of the victims were kulaks who had refused to sow their fields or had destroyed their crops.' - http://marxism.halkcephesi.net/Ludo%20Martens/node77.html

Mass starvation, mass murder & purges of minorities isn't a "quirk in the system" of communism. It is the system.
See:
China starving out millions in their "great leap forward" it was considered a necessary evil. It wasn't an accident.
See:
China murdering a million Turkish Uighurs in their forced labor camp. Wiping out an unpopular ethnic minority isn't a "side effect" it's the goal.
See:
Stalin purging Jews because they had "too much money." This wasn't a side effect of communism. This was communism.

If you check actual history:
The people resisting communism refused to give up their farms. The commies killed them and replaced them with transported laborers from the cities.
This was a disaster because the new laborers had no idea how to farm.
Compounding this: the party members in charge of "central" planning lied about how much wheat their new laborers produced to avoid being killed by the Kremlin.
So all the grain actually produced on the inefficient communal farms went to the big cities and the countryside (like the former Ukraine) starved out while balls deep in wheat and rye.

bad choice by the leader not ideology but still Venezuela isnt considered a communist economy but more of a mixed economy and plus one of the reasons for this crisis is that the country has overly depended on petroleum rather than focusing on diversifying its economy. Between 2014 and 2015, the price of oil dropped by 50%, cutting earnings by around $60 billion.

By the early 2010s, economic actions taken by Chávez's government during the preceding decade, such as overspending and price controls, became unsustainable. Venezuela's economy faltered while poverty, inflation and shortages in Venezuela increased.

its bc of overspending and hyperinflation

The crisis in Venezuela began with the presidency of Hugo Chávez when he used the revenue from the oil to fund government spending. It was no longer sustainable to fund government spending from the revenue generated by oil and this caused the Venezuelan economy to shake. This led to poverty, inflation, and shortages.

just a bad choice by the leader not the ideology

Communism starves out many more people than capitalism. No modern government system does much to fight 3rd world starvation.
Currently capitalism is responsible for the only source of food for starving countries: free grain from the west to poor countries. And when we say the "west" we mean north America.

wrong actually capitalism have been long associated with hunger AND inequality and plus America and soviet citizens eat about the same in caloric intake but again in socialist society its goal is to help its citizen by giving them food to survive while in a capitalist society its profit over human well being like I keep saying no money no food meaning a deficit of your needs not being met simply bc you dont have money also 9 mil ppl die a year due to hunger

and capitalism once caused a famine so bad it was bigger in death of starvation more than jews that was burned during the 2nd world war

Various figures quoted by historians tell a harrowing tale of the great Bengal Famine. In one of the most brutal examples of capitalism, the British wiped out an entire generation for mere profits. The reported number of deaths due the famine was even greater than the Jews incineration during World War II.

yes they did they fought the state by destroying what the state wanted they weren't going to confront the state by military force so they destroyed their crops their animals and the tools they needed, therefore, resulting in famine bc the kulaks didn't wanna collectivize bc they were afraid of losing the little bit they had they starved themselves Stalin didn't do anything to Ukraine the farmers did it

Capitalism turns food, a life essential, into a commodity to be bought and sold. And while capitalist agriculture is adept at producing that commodity cheaply and making corporations richer, it is no good at providing living wage jobs, or sustaining healthy environments or bodies.

if you dont have the cash dont expect help private profit over human well being
and with market allocations, the food never gets distributed well either meaning that the food get distributed well neither
0 ups, 2y,
1 reply
Without capitalism you wouldn't have the food in the first place.
Communism dis-incentivizes productivity since the government keeps everything, so communist countries have to employ defacto slave labour to get the food, by killing people who won't work.
Which is why the food being eaten in communist North Korea doesn't come from communist North Korea.
0 ups, 2y
im pretty sure communist countries also produce food
Under communism, none of the "means of production"– such as factories and land – are owned by individuals. Instead, all people work together for the common good, not for profit. The wealth produced is shared among the people, based on their needs, rather than on their contribution to the work.

this policy was also apart of stalins 5 year plan the same 1/2 plans that made the USSR advance 50-100 years in a matter of 10 years
As part of the first five-year plan, collectivization was introduced in the Soviet Union by general secretary Joseph Stalin in the late 1920s as a way, according to the policies of socialist leaders, to boost agricultural production through the organization of land and labor into large-scale collective farms (kolkhozy) ...
