Did Hello Neighbor get an update or something?

Yeah I was speed running act one to prove my friend I could then he boarded up the window

You don't need to break a window to speedrun act one
You can use a TV to clip into the basement

I know I did it to Distract him and the best way to speed run is get the magnet gun then u can use the magnet to get the red key bye walking to it make sure the magnet is through the door it will take a Couple tries but it will glitch and it will get the red key through the key

Unless you're doing one of the alphas, the fastest way to do act 1 glitchless is to use a trash can to jump up onto the roof from the scaffold next to the porch, then jump to the invisible ledge next to the red window, break the window, grab the key, then run and unlock the door to the basement
Once down there you can use one of the giant panels to jump over and click the generator button, then you can climb back over and go through the final door.

Apparently that's the rarest and worst possible neighbor RNG you can get

Dude I was playing that in my ps4 yesterday and every damn window was boarded up. Worst rng ever.

There are some window that are always boarded up, like most of the houses right side in act 2, and several of the higher up widows in both acts 2 and 3
But if he was boarding up every window that you broke, then that's just bad luck

It was act 2 when he had all of them boarded.

Do you remember which one it was?
Because I'm the back of the house, he boards the bathroom windows all the time, and on the top of the house, he boards all of them

It was the bottom windows he had boarded up yeah. At some point I quit and just got s bunch of boxes and did the trampoline trick.

Lol thanks. I’ve just started again and currently I’m trying to fix a bug with sprinting where my screen glitches when I sprint. I’m gonna have to just restart act 3 maybe.

If you go to the menu, instead of doing "select act">>"Act 3", you can just go to "Restart"
It'll reset you to the latest checkpoint without you losing any progress, and it should fix some bugs
You can also do that if the train doesn't activate

I did press restart and my sprinting is bugged idk what to do.

It might be a problem with the game itself
Look for an online guide, and if that doesn't help, restart the act. After that, I dont know what to tell you
