Who isn't familiar with Looney Tunes? Whether you grew up in their era, alongside their modern incarnation, or with any of their films (Space Jam was huge during my childhood! Made all my mates want to get into basketball. Alas, I was too short at the time. I was, admittedly, not very good), there's no way you haven't seen these characters, who've been geniusly interpreted by this artist. The shadow from the spade on the wall, the fallen plant that possibly crumbled during one of their famous chase sequences, and the lighting on the chair are all minor details surrounding our main attraction, which is the beloved cartoon animals, Sylvester the Cat and Tweety Bird. Sylvester's glare and the way his arms are folded, even showing a couple of his claws, are done expertly in his trademarked fashion, and Tweety's juxtaposing innocence is perfectly captured as well. This vibrant talent certainly knows a thing or two about cartoons. Makes me miss my own youth and wish to revisit some of my favourites, and that's what any good artist strives for!
