Also, Hawaii is literally a helicopter parent when it comes to collectors. They micromanage every bit of collection of their resources, so yeah, the hobby isn't "unregulated" in Hawaii... PETA chose the wrong place to talk about. Also, instead of spending money on a documentary guilt tripping good pet owners, WHY NOT USE THE MONEY TO EDUCATE PEOPLE ON HOW TO BE A RESPONSIBLE HOBBYIST?!
