At least TikTok has thoughtful content from mature people, the videos are funny, and the cringe content can be easily filtered out by telling them some of your preferences. Imgflip on the other hand is occupied by generally middle-schoolers, who making mostly badly written, badly-spelled, and badly-spaced memes, and as there's no algorithm to filter for your preferences you see aLL the cringe content.

On imgflip, most of the time they don't have that, sometimes if they do, it's just to add to the comedy, but even if they do that for non-comedy purposes, it's usually just a minor grammar mistake.
