Hang out with your friends during break, because it'll be hard to in a year
Do your schoolwork, because if you get good grades it's good.
Make some memories at that school, because you won't be there for long.
Most people aren't "too dumb" to do schoolwork. Most people who have trouble with school simply don't have the motivation. Small steps in the right direction are fine, as long as they're in the right direction. A short walk a day and forcing yourself to do things will go a long way
I'm going to assume you live in a roughly suburban area, so you might be able to make some money doing odd jobs for the neighbors if you make friends with them.
Okay, I'm done with one of my best friends. I trusted her to keep a secret that I liked somebody (y'all know who if you check my posts) and she told every other one of my friends. I can't believe she backstabbed me like that. I'm so over her. She is now my ex-bestie. I hate 8th grade.
