Looks like the Scourge of the Multiverse has a competitor

the edge will collapse all existence and start anew if it finds the current multiverse unworthy
it can be stopped if you kill it in time and will reset everything it collapsed before

*stabs a cold plasma blade through it's eye*

*pulls out a cross glowing with holy light*

the face on the edge explodes and the multiverse expands to its normal size

Well technically since the multiverse is infinite it's existence merely slowed it's expansion
