That would give him Inkstone samples of old magicans, however a better idea would be bringing the Drvourer back from the dead and have Inkmatas fight it again

The collector can get fresh Inkstone samples and can even get the scraps of the armor for his armor

An armor made out of that would be an interesting addition to his collection

However

He is currently collecting materials for the omega alloy, pretty much the greatest material in the multiverse

The Armor of the Devourer is made of a material from Celestials. Celestial armor is too strong for any mortal

It would be cool to have it even if he can't use it

They don't call him the collector for nothing

However, bringing back the DOG seems like a viable option considering you could use the scraps to make a weapon that could halt a bloodstone user's rampage

Which is one of the reasons collector is trying so hard to understand inkstone
