I mean to some people might find the left option unappealing if they don't believe in God. But it worked for me :)

Basically, a deep thought into how far is a person willing to go to find love, and be with that person, even if (in the beginning) such ideologies did not match up. Or, should said person reject a love simply because their ideological beliefs may not exactly line up with theirs, and except a life of utter loneliness and abandonment rather than try to be more accommodating to the one they profess to love? Is living a worthless, depressing, lonely life worth more to an individual than the little bit of give and take, and sacrifice, for the one they love - which is a part of marriage anyway?

All good points. You're not going to find a person who exactly matches all your ideals and preferences so you have to be somewhat accommodating to make a marriage work. But if your thinking is so opposite that you have to sacrifice your morals then you probably shouldn't accommodate and get married. There are some people who do live life as a single person and are happy and fulfilled but it's not for lack of finding someone but more becuase they have given their life to a certain cause. I'm thinking of nuns or monks, but others like Susan B Anthony, Oprah, The Wright brothers. So I guess it boils down to where are you most fulfilled sharing your life with another person in marriage or as a single person. 😊
