At least I finally came up with a name before making this

One day
The professor (who may have been the collector) was doing research on artificial intelligence

When suddenly there was a call
Computers all over the world were being hacked

He needed a way to fix them faster than any human being could type

He needed something that didn't need to eat, sleep, or breath

Then it hit him

Maybe his research could finally come in handy

He began building
He knew that there were some problems that couldn't just be fixed with a keyboard so it needed a physical body

Some of these were in tight spaces so he made it able to separate into smaller drones

He made it look a bit more friendly because he knew most of the world would see it

He even went as far as to add bunny ear-like speakers to it's head

And soon, it was complete
The machine that would save the world
Then, something unexpected happened
It turned on by itself and began moving
The many body parts began flying around the room, seemingly attempting to upgrade itself

Soon it stopped
It's body began morphing as if it were made of water it soon stopped and the professor stopped to evaluate what just happened

He could not let his work go to waste
He put the AI into the machine and it sprung to life just as it was designed to do

Now the body was separated all the time giving it maximum mobility

And it could still separate into smaller drones

It was even fully sentient
It still had one goal: stop the hackers
Before the professor had time to speak it began flying out the door

All the professor could do was hope that it wasn't about to annialate humanity

However the only humans in danger were the hackers

Computers all over the world began working again, the military could see it flying across the world on radar

They did not know what it was but they knew it had something to do with all the computers suddenly working again

Step one was complete
Step two had begun

The machine went to an abandoned warehouse in the middle of nowhere

It had one mission now:
Find the hackers

It went into a trapdoor and found 20 men prepared to fire at it

Every bullet missed because of it's agility

It whispered "my turn"
One of it's arms morphed into a strange device with electricity coming off of it

It lifted the device and fired
Everyone in the room was turned to dust

The hackers were nearby
They knew it was coming for them
It found the room they were hiding in and at the last second one of them pressed a button and the machine stopped working for a moment

It then came back
Now with it's device disarmed
With that one button press they managed to get it's one goal off it's mind for a moment, activating it's full sentience

Until now it had a fully sentient AI but it couldn't use it. It only knew "hacker bad"

It evaluated the situation for a moment
It reactivated the weapon and fired
Once again, everyone in the room was turned to dust

It then decided to try to be at least slightly human. It gave itself a name: data

And it's body morphed to be more feminine to match the name

She then gave herself the ability to speak

*It changes to a view of the collector holding a book titled "cool stories"*

And that, is the story of data

*Inkmatas raises her hand* yes, inkmatas?

Inkmatas: so that's the thing we saw flying over inkopolis?

Collector: yes. I actually kinda needed an excuse to tell you about that

Switch hood: but why did it need to become female to become human?

Collector: well, that was actually a thing i- he put in it's code. He always wanted it to be female

*Closes the book* well, I think that's enough for now.

Try to include me in some lore for the next character, as in, someone that was inspiration, trying to stop them, or help them.

Maybe a rebellious Disassembly Drone that refused to go with both Uzi, and the company.

Is that actually canon to murder drones?

If they take shelter from the sun, flares and UV flashlights work the same, and if V can be tied up by her own tail, they can tie worker drones up like that. or just by the legs.

Eh, my OC is just a basic Worker Drone, nothing special.

If I make another I'll keep that in mind
I'll give them some kind of inspiration

Okay, just remember, if you do a Disassembly Drone, their tail can be used to rope and drag others closer. UV flares and lights can either damage or scramble them if used correctly.
