Damn, if you think that was insulting you should read the bible some time.

Can't even bring yourself to say that selling a survivor to her rapist is bad.

It's a shame that the religion your parents are forcing on you has had such a negative impact on your moral development, I hope you can get yourself out and start to repair the damage they've done.

I am not going to argue with you. I am accepting the christian faith and slowly working my way towards becoming a devote christian.

Christianity cannot vouch for all of humanity's mistakes.

I'm not talking about humanity's mistakes. I'm talking about what's in the bible. Nobody is trying to argue with you.

Do you think it's appropriate to force a rape survivor to marry her attacker or be put to death? It's a really simple question that anyone with morals should be able to answer.

you are right, she should not have been forced to do that, but what can i do about that now? what does christianity have to do with that?

You can not follow and give money to an ancient mythology that encourages rape and rewards rapists while punishing survivors.

Then you can give to charity and donate your time to causes that aid survivors to try and undo the damage that you and your religion has done.

That would be a good start, let me know if you need more advice on how to not be a terrible human being.

You can use the hemming and hawwing here but only on one condition— if you allow these people to contextualize like that then you must NEVER quote an isolated passage as “the word of God” without contextualizing it ever again. If you can verse-beat so can the atheists. https://www.gotquestions.org/Deuteronomy-22-28-29-marry-rapist.html

The fact that you just admitted that the bible was wrong means you aren't a Christian anyway. Not too long ago the parents who are forcing their religion on you could have had you put to death for saying the bible was wrong.

Wow, forcing their religion on you. How Christian of them.

What did you think of the part where god says if a woman doesn't marry her rapist then she must be stoned to death? Doesn't that seem a bit "insulting" to you?
