If I am wrong I lose nothing.

If you are wrong you lose everything.

You have more to lose than you realize. Given the breadth of mutually exclusive mythologies throughout human past and present, it is much likelier than not that you have dedicated your life to a false god, or at the very least are worshipping the one true god in the wrong way.

In all probability, you and the author of this meme will share the same fate when you die.

Leave it to an unbeliever to set a straight.

Someone has to be the voice of reason. My instinct whenever I see a bible quote is to offer the counterpoint that beliefs have no affect outside of the person who holds them. It is therefore inappropriate to use beliefs as surrogates for facts when referencing external reality. If you knew your belief to be true, it would cease to be faith.

Tldr, good on you for finding Jesus--just remember that's YOUR truth, not everyone's truth. If you're secure in your beliefs this shouldn't be difficult. Of course you're free to believe/not believe whatever you wish. That privilege goes both ways. 🙏

I appreciate this. It took me a long time to realize that I'm sincere when I say that. I recognize and respect piety, and truly appreciate humility and civility.
