MAGA Republicans are calling on Biden to apologize for his Philadelphia speech. For once, I agree with them. Biden should apologize right after they apologize for: Attempting to steal the 2020 election, invading the Capitol on Jan. 6, blocking efforts at investigating Trump’s election fraud scheme, acquitting Trump twice, inciting violence against the FBI, the CDC, and election workers, poisoning rational political discourse, gutting affordable healthcare, opposing minimum wage increases, busting unions, flooding American politics with corporate money disguised as speech, robbing the U.S. Treasury to fund tax cuts for billionaires, reversing Roe v. Wade, stripping away LGBTQ rights, equating racial justice groups with terrorists, attempting to impose a hard-right Christian theocracy, gaslighting Americans for decades into believing climate change isn’t real, carrying water for Russian lies, painting all Democrats as pedophiles and communists and not true Americans, and forcibly separating immigrant children from their parents at the border, sometimes never to be reunited. THEN BIDEN WOULD BE WRONG TO CALL MAGA REPUBLICANS FASCIST.
