I think you're way too confident a full out war against China and Russia doesn't wipe us out. Russia alone has more nukes than us and if the Tsar Bomba is anything to go by, they're going to wipe out the US if push comes to shove. Not to mention China has their own nuclear arsenal as well and over 4 times the population of the US, or whatever weapons either of them could have developed since WWII. You can have all the can-do attitude you want, but it's not gonna be worth much when the nukes start flying. Plus the US hasn't had great luck winning wars lately, just ask the Vietnamese or the Taliban. I think Biden realizes this, hence why he's pushing to get semiconductor operations set up in the US, he's not willing to risk WWIII over what China sees as an internal matter. I also have to say this, know your audience. You're talking to the people who are going to get drafted if WWIII becomes a reality. Telling them to basically suck it up and better get to war while you're still living your life stateside is kind of a dick move, even if you may not have intended it that way. It's definitely worth having some empathy and putting yourself in their shoes, they're scared because they know that best case scenario, they may not come back alive if they're drafted, worst case scenario, everyone they know dies because someone decided to launch the nukes.
