Republicans ask: "What if it was you?" Indeed: What if it *was* you?

I cannot emphasize this enough: if you or I had those kinds of documents in our closet, the FBI raid would immediate (no "negotiation"), followed by very harsh arrest and detainment. So Republicans are, as always, a quarter right: Trump *is* getting exceptional treatment. But it's on the slap-on-the-wrist-for-murder side. There would be zero hesitation, zero mercy, zero chance of getting out of the cage for many years.
