It's one thing to be a socialist, but being a communist is a whole other ball game. Communism for starters leads to totalitarianism, political repression, restrictions of human rights, poor economic performance and cultural and artistic censorship.
If you became a communist because you believe in human decency and that people deserve to have their needs tended to that's ok, but I'd advise you to turn back from this dark path you walk.
If you became a communist for ulterior reasons, or perhaps you were radicalised by memes surrounding it, you might have an element of corruption within you that needs correcting.
I am in no way saying you should become a greedy pure-capitalist, just be careful on which path your mind wanders as you can end up in a very dark place and if I can help you avoid radicalisation I will help you in any way I can. Yes. It denies economic liberty, self determination, religious liberty, property, & is a basic form of slavery.
A free person keeps the money they earn. A slave doesn't. Planting slave owners claimed all wealth created by slaves. Communist govts claim all wealth created by workers.
Ironically, it is communists who constantly bring up slavery from the past, & denounce it, while ignoring economic hardship, deprivation, murder, & oppression in commie cultures.
Communism is likely the most dreadful blight on humanity as it's built on reasonable human desires but in practice it is an impossibility that denies the beauty of the human experience for pragmatic dogma.
