They're all for choice as long as somebody else is paying

To be fair, it's not like it's the first time the government has been wasting money on shit. The government sends billions in foreign aid to other countries, gives corporate bailouts and don't even get me started on the military. I think it's kind of hypocritical to be outraged over students debt forgiveness but not about all other wasteful government spending.

You're right about the other waste, but quite isolated if you believe the same people upset about the debt forgiveness aren't upset about the other.
