people who make $124k per year are definitely not top 1%. It'd take them 5+ years to even break into millionaire territory, and that's not including expenses, which are not accounted for in salary counts.

I guess you didn't study math or economics in university.

If the government prints an extra 1 trillion dollars in a year it had to come from somewhere. It either comes from new taxes or from the printing of new money. Printing money causes inflation which decreases the value of the money that regular people already have or will make. Inflation is a tax on regular people.

The world is a very big place. If you make 34,000 a year you are in the top 1% of the world.
