More and more, you have to be literally insane to be a Republican. You have to believe your party is based on liberty when it focuses most of its energies on scapegoating various minority groups and restricting individual freedom. You have to believe "guns save lives" when America endures the highest gun death rate by far among rich-world peers. You have to believe that Joe Biden is senile and hapless, but that he also orchestrated the largest election heist in human history. You have to believe that Trump declassified the Mar-a-Lago documents, but also that they were planted by the FBI. You have to believe that ANTIFA was behind January 6, but also that the rioters are persecuted patriots. You have to believe that Trump needs your $5 contribution to save him from the FBI, but also that he's a billionaire business genius.
