They tell me to pause my online game so, why can't i tell them to pause cooking or work?

this is literally my mom in a nutshell she plays some games and is like pause to me when i tell her to pause her game she tells me that there is no pause button but i can clearly see it

Mom ten seconds later: OMG I JUST BEAT LEVEL 2000 IN CANDY CRUSH!
