Yeah, I remember back when most of the rightists were unified during the RUP/Conservative Party eras. Good times.
I actually believe some of our foreign policy has been WAY too hawkish, especially with the War on Terror. With Ukraine I think its justified to send monetary and weapons support due to concerns over Putin’s authoritarianism and possible affinity with Marxism-Leninism from his time in the KGB, as long as we don’t send American troops there. (Would probably start WW3, and even if it somehow didn’t, it wouldn’t be worth sending our troops to fight and die there, for example the no-fly zone idea was completely insane and I’m glad it was rejected)

I'm not sure why there is fighting over Ukraine in the first place. The only thing I can think if is because the Democrats were the most vocal over their support for Ukraine so the Republicans reacted to that.

I don't like Putin, I don't like the Russian government. I think it is wrong for them to threaten to take over the Ukraine, just like it is wrong for China to threaten to take over Taiwan.

But getting involved militarily is also the wrong decision because it is a powder keg of dynamite that would most likely start WWIII. I don't want WWIII.
